The Income Tax Overseas Unit (ITOU) Singapore, under High Commission of India, Singapore participated in the Knowledge Session “Navigating India’s New Income Tax Act and Emerging Tax Jurisprudence” hosted by ICAI Singapore Chapter on 22 June 2026. Mr. Sanyam Joshi, First Secretary (ITOU) spoke about the rationale and philosophy behind India’s new Income-tax Act, 2025 and elaborated the nuances of simplification and consolidation in the new Act.
