A Capacity Building Programme on the provisions of the Income-tax Act, 2025 was organized on 19 June 2026 at the Conference Hall, Civic Centre, New Delhi for officers and officials of PCIT(VU)-3, Delhi and CIT(Appeals) Units 28 to 30, Delhi. Attended by nearly 90 participants, the programme formed part of the third phase of the Department’s nationwide training initiative aimed at facilitating a seamless transition to the new legislative framework. The session was conducted by Ms. Shivani Bansal, CIT and Master Trainer, who provided a comprehensive overview of the key provisions of the Income-tax Act, 2025 and shared valuable insights on its implementation and compliance requirements. Addressing the participants, Ms. Kesang Y. Sherpa, Principal Commissioner of Income Tax (VU)-3, Delhi, highlighted the pivotal role of an efficient and responsive tax administration in advancing the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
